Arthur C. Clarke, Dies at 90
It is a sad day for all science fiction fans, that earlier today Arthur C. Clarke, the worlds best Science Fiction Writer and futurologist died at the age of 90.
Rohan de Silva, an aide to Mr. Clarke, said the author died after experiencing breathing problems, The Associated Press reported. Mr. Clarke had post-polio syndrome for the last two decades and used a wheelchair.
I will pay homage to the man in later posts, but many sci-fi writers today stood on the giant shoulders of his, without him the genre would be not much more then pulp space opera rather than hard core sci-fi.
